High blood pressure, or hypertension, was long thought to be an adult problem, with the incidence increasing among older age groups. But nowadays, higher numbers of children suffer from hypertension, and more attention is being paid to this situation. Some studies indicate that up to 6% of teenagers and 1% of children below the age of 12 suffer from this problem. If a child’s blood pressure exceeds that of 95% of others in his age group it is considered to be hypertension. Identifying the causes of hypertension in children has become a priority health matter.

Last week I went with my girlfriend to get her hair done. She had spent a considerable amount of time driving me around while I was getting my car worked on, so I kind of owed her. It’s one of those give and take things that are necessary for a healthy relationship.
Stress may have a lot of different effects on our bodies, but only one of them is really deadly dangerous: high blood pressure. While high blood pressure does not need to be an effect of stress, this is the most common reason – and the potentially deadly effects of high blood pressure are too well-known to discuss them here.

Essential hypertension is also known as primary hypertension. This type of hypertension is said to be essential or primary hypertension because it is basically, its own primary cause. This is to say the medical community can’t find any underlying cause for it. The patient simply has hypertension and that is the bottom line!

High blood pressure is a prevalent health condition in America, but it’s likewise a dangerous one. Hypertension is a risk factor for conditions like heart attack, stroke and cardiovascular disease. Once a patient is diagnosed with hypertension, a health care provider’s primary objective is to bring down the blood pressure to the safe range so additional stress on the heart does not transpire.

One of my client was speaking about the difference in her spouse’s blood pressure reading. When it is taken in home it is somewhere between normal and slightly high. But when it is taken at doctor’s clinic it reads very high.

High blood pressure, also known as hypertension, is a condition in which the force of the blood pumped by the heart is consistently elevated due to the resistance of the arteries against the blood flow. Blood pressure is measured as the pressure of the heart beat (systolic) over the pressure of the heart at rest (diastolic). Hypertension is defined as a blood pressure of–0/90 or higher. Normal, or healthy, blood pressure for average adults should be 120/80 or less.
Onion is member of the botanical family liliaceae (lily, onion). There are many varieties of onion (allium), including leeks, shallots, chives, and garlic. They all share a similar structure, with hollow single stems growing out of bulbs and flowering into pom-pom flowers, and every part of the plant is edible.
Blood pressure is called “hypertension” in the medical world. When your blood pressure is consistently above the ideal 120/80, you are generally considered “hypertensive”. A high blood pressure is genetically predisposed in some individuals, but aside from genes, there are other factors that also contribute to it.
