When you finally make the decision to go to an eating disorder center, you may feel overwhelmed. If you are trying to talk someone into going to an eating disorder center or are choosing a center for someone that you know, the process can be equally intimidating.
Samantha used to have an allergic reaction every time she wanted to have one of her favourite foods. She had somehow made up her mind to give it up, realizing that maybe she wouldn’t ever be able to have it. But now she has found out an easy way out. She can now eat anything she wants, anywhere and to her heart’s content.

Everywhere you look, you’ll see the signs of an obesity epidemic in the United States. Adults struggling with their weight, levering themselves into and out of cars. I’m not going to make friends with my colleagues by saying this but I believe that the experts who work in residential treatment facilities or those involved with OA are doing more damage than good when it comes to helping people heal compulsive overeating.
